Welcome to my world! It’s the world of a newly retired teacher whose heart is still in the classroom. You’ve heard that saying, “Once a teacher, always a teacher.” Well it is completely TRUE! For some time now, I have been toying with the idea of writing a blog. It’s not that I am this great writer or anything–because I am not. It’s just that I have things to say and share!
For my recent birthday, my two wonderful sons gifted me with my own website! Pretty cool, right? So, as I adjust to semi-retired life, I will be pouring my heart out along with some knowledge of teaching and learning that I have collected along the way.
Even though I leave the classroom as a “teacher of children”—(sniff, sniff) I continue to teach the Responsive Classroom approach as a “teacher of adults.” I’m truly blessed!
Hugs everyone!

Thank you, Jim!!
Thank you Lisa! I have found my passion once again!
You were a fantastic teacher of kids and have shifted beautifully into a teacher of adults. You have so much to give and are still impacting the lives of children.
