Gayle Robert is a retired elementary educator from St. Charles Parish Public Schools in Luling, Louisiana. She had 37 years of experience in the classroom teaching students from Kindergarten though second grade. Gayle has also been a consulting teacher for the past 17 summers presenting workshops about “The Responsive Classroom” approach to teachers and schools around the country for The Center for Responsive Schools. Now that she is recently retired, Gayle continues to work for (CRS) on a part-time basis. Sharing this unique and powerful approach to teaching and learning continues to inspire and motivate Gayle. Through the Responsive Classroom workshops and hopefully with this blog, she can reach out to teachers and parents who are looking to gain a true understanding and perspective on educating the children of today!
Gayle lives in Luling, Louisiana but is often found at their lake home in Poplarville, Mississippi with her husband, Kenny. They have two amazing grown sons, Ryan and Brandon. Her favorite pastime (besides sleeping late since she recently retired!!!!) is reading and enjoying every minute of family life!
