Welcome to My World

It's the world of a newly retired teacher whose heart is still very much in the classroom. You've heard the saying, "Once a teacher, always a teacher." Well, I'm living proof that it's absolutely true.

I've been toying with the idea of starting a blog for a while now — not because I'm some great writer (I'm really not!), but because I have things to say and share. And now I finally have a reason to dive in: for my recent birthday, my two wonderful sons gifted me my very own website. Pretty cool, right?

So, as I settle into this new chapter of semi-retired life, I'll be pouring my heart out here, along with the knowledge of teaching and learning I've collected over the years. Though I may be leaving the classroom as a teacher of children — sniff, sniff — I'm continuing my work as a teacher of adults, sharing the Responsive Classroom® approach with educators. I feel truly blessed.
